We have had another good week in school with the new arrangements working well. Although some guidance has changed regarding size of groups etc in the community, there has been no change to guidance for schools. This means we carry on as we have been.

Please remember that we do have COVID Test Kits in school should they be needed, contact school immediately if you require one.

The menu cycle is Week 1.

Please make bookings for EarlyBirds and Afterschool to office@sturton.notts.sch.uk It is very important that bookings are made.

Reminders:

Nail varnish should not be worn in school.

Children in Class 2 should come to school in PE kits on a Thursday BUT have their uniform to change into.

Water bottles should still be brought to have on desks, these should be filled with water and not juice. There is no need for water bottles to be taken to the hall, water and cups are provided with the school meals.

NAMING CARDIGANS AND SWEATSHIRTS – most of these are named, but if not, please make sure your child’s name is clearly marked in the clothing, it is very difficult to return unnamed articles.

Merits will once again be on Friday at 1.15pm and parents/friends are welcome to join us (virtually):

Future dates:

The details for Open Evening will be coming out next week. The dates for these will be Monday 28^th September and Tuesday 6^th October between 3.30 – 6.30pm. These meetings will be face to face with class teachers but we will be requesting that face coverings are worn by parents. Details about the organisation to keep everyone safe will follow.
