Next week we are promoting the SUSTRANS Walk, Cycle or Scoot to School Week (info attached again). Posters are up around school and it would be great to see as many people as possible try to get involved. I appreciate that not all families live within the village, but perhaps park at the village hall and walk/scoot to school? I look forward to seeing and hearing about the ways the children come to school next week.

Thank you for the returned requests for Open Evening, you should have had your appointments to your Inbox yesterday. If you requested one and have not received an email, please contact the school office@sturton.notts.sch.uk

The Flu Immunisation forms were sent out yesterday. Thank you for the large amount of returns today. I know some letters are still in children’s bags, please make sure you check for yours. We have to have a response from every child in F2 to Y6. All forms should be returned by Friday 9^th October (or sooner if possible). The nursing team will be in school on 3^rd November. The Governing Body are funding the Flu Vaccination for any member of the school staff team who wish to have it, I thank the Governing Body for their support in this.

On Monday our school worship will be led by Reverend Jacqui Jones, this will be done via Zoom and it will be god for the children to see her again, she is a popular visitor to school.

Open evening runs on Monday and starts promptly at 3.30pm, notes on the safety details we have put in place have already been sent out with the appointment.
