Good afternoon,

Here is the weekly update for next week. I will again, send out the invite for Merits later in the week.

Thank you for the Open Evening reply slips/emails that have been returned. We will send out appointments next week.

The lunch menu is Week 3.

Please make bookings for EarlyBirds and Afterschool to office@sturton.notts.sch.uk by 3.30pm on a Friday for the following week. We have increased numbers attending all sessions and there is a limit on available spaces. Booking in advance is essential. If you can give dates over the half term or longer, that would help very much.

Next Friday the children in F2, Class 2 & Class 3 swim again. Thank you for ensuring access down Church Street for the coach and minibus.

Also next Friday is our NSPCC Number Day. As per the information from Miss Rowbottom:

On the 7th May it is our NSPCC NUMBER DAY. Each year the charity hosts a Number Day to celebrate maths within schools and raise money for the amazing work they do across the country to support children of all ages. In school we will be holding a 'MATHS AT THE MOVIES' morning. Each class will be watching a film/ film clips and completing maths activities linked to their chosen film. This will also be a non-uniform day for all children. To raise money for the charity we are asking for a donation of £1 for this day. 

Merits will take place on Friday at 1.10pm as normal (invite sent later in the week).
