It has been lovely seeing everyone back in school this week, the weather has also been much better than last term!

GOOD LUCK to the parents doing the Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge on Saturday – Graham, Claire, Lee, Sarah & Hannah – I will be keeping everyone updated on their progress throughout the day on Twitter (@Sturtonead). Thank you for the kind donations so far – all money will be invested in IT equipment for school that ALL children will access. So far the donations stand at £2500! Please donate if you are able – we will be able to add Chromebooks to our provision as well as contributing to 2 new interactive screens in teaching areas around school – resources that will benefit all children. I wonder if we can make £3000? Thank you walkers and thank you donators.

Lunch menu is Week 3. Next Tuesday, we are hoping for a visit from the Catering Team to meet with some of the children as Food Ambassadors, more details will follow.

PE for Class 2 reverts to Wednesday & Thursday, Class 3 it is Thursday and Friday and Foundation it is Tuesday and Thursday.

Swimming continues for Class 1 on Friday.

School class photos are happening on Friday. We will also be taking a whole school photo too.

Merits will take place at 1.10pm on Friday and the invite will be sent during the week.
