A short update for next week:

Lunch Menu is Week 1

Please make bookings for EarlyBirds and Afterschool to office@sturton.notts.sch.uk by 3.30pm tomorrow (Friday).

Football club for KS2 is on Thursday.

There will be no Merits (Friday 17^th)  as myself and Mrs. Gibson are out at some Diocesan Training on Friday, it will return as normal the following week.

Covid 19

There seems to be some confusion from some parents about the difference between and LFT and PCR Test. The LFT (Lateral Flow Test) is administered at home and is what many people (including school staff) use to test twice weekly, the results are shown in around 30 minutes. A PCR (polymerase chain reaction) is a test that can be administered at home or at a test centre, but is sent to a laboratory for analysis. The results are then sent back to you by email or text message. It is the PCR test that is required to be negative before returning to school should there be a family member/close contact who has tested positive themselves.
