Good morning,

We always place safety at the top of our priorities, and with the expected heat wave next week, we already have planned ahead. We will not be expecting rigorous outdoor activity, children will be kept under shade (Foundation in their outdoor area at break and lunch) and classes 1, 2 & 3 under the canopy when they do have some time outside. The whole school is air-conditioned and we will be using it to ensure the rooms are kept cool. Please remember to send your child with a water bottle so that it can be refilled – not juice, water only, this will keep them hydrated.

Lunch Menu is Week 3.

Wednesday

Transition morning – all children will be in their new class groups. Miss Louth will be with Class 1.

Sports Club

NO BIKE CLUB

Thursday

Sports Afternoon from 1.15pm. Everyone welcome. We are hoping the weather will have returned to a more normal summer temperature. I hope we can go ahead as normal, I will keep you posted.

IMPORTANT – if you child is normally booked into Afterschool and you do not wish to use it on Thursday – please let us know.

Final Merits

Final swim for Class 1.

Looking ahead……..

Gallery and Celebration Evening (6.00pm art and Design Technology work displayed in the hall – celebration evening to commence at 6.30pm outside on the playground – as last year). Everyone welcome.

Leavers Service – 2.00pm in Church – everyone welcome.

There is no Afterschool on the final day.

We return to school on Thursday 1^st September.
