This week
Good morning,
We are currently having some fencing erected around the field to minimise the damage caused by rabbits. I know this may be a strange request, but does anyone have close links with Yorkshire Wildlife Park? The reason I ask is that apparently lion/tiger poo is very good at deterring both rabbits and foxes. Being environmentally responsible, this would be an additional action to keep the rabbits off the field. Please let me know if you could help with this. Aaaah, the job of a Headteacher!!
Voice Your Vocab – please remember that all children (Year 1 to Year 6) have an image to look at ready for Special Writing on a Friday. For Class 1, this is sent home as a paper copy, for all other classes, it is on Google Classroom by Wednesday. It is really important that the children bring along their ideas that they have thought about with you, developing a rich vocabulary for both oral and written work is crucial in widening their knowledge.
Lunch menu is Week 1.

To make this a little more interesting, I wonder if we can challenge the children to bring foods with certain coloured packaging?? This will allow us to make a ‘Rainbow of food gift’ for the Food Bank. Please don’t worry if you can’t, all donations will be greatly appreciated.
