It has been lovely to welcome everyone back to school. We look forward to a fun and exciting term, with trips and opportunities across school.

Today we have Road Safety Workshops for all children across school.

Lunch Menu is Week 1.

Please make bookings for wraparound care to office@sturton.notts.sch.uk by 3.30pm today.

The club bookings are now closed and those clubs will begin next week.

Wednesday

Hockey Sports with Coach Ross – till 4.30pm

Makaton with Miss Newboult – till 4.15pm

Striders with Mr. Elliott – till 4.15pm

PE days are as stated in last week’s email:

Wednesday will be Gymnastics

The children will also have second PE session each week (as normal) until swimming begins after half term.

Foundation – Tuesday (indoor)

Class 1 – Thursday

Class 2 – Thursday

Class 3 – Monday

On these days, children will need both indoor and outdoor kit (except FU) as the weather can be an issue this term. These days for Classes 1, 2 & 3 will be outside whenever possible. Please make sure earrings are removed for PE sessions.

The weekly ‘Voice Your Vocab’ will begin again with either the pictures sent home (Class 1) or posted on Google Classroom. Please remember that this is an important short piece of preparation for the Special Writing which is done every Friday.

Merits will take place on Friday as normal.
