The Swimathon Squad is still only 4/5 children. I am opening this up to parents and staff if they would like to join the squad and swim as many lengths as possible in 13 minutes. All money raised is split 60:40 (School:Retford) Rotary. I have asked for a timeslot on 4^th March between 3.00 – 4.00pm. If you or your child is interested, please let me know by tomorrow (Friday).

The lunch menu for next week is Week 1.

From next week there will be some new faces in school and a familiar face missing for a while. Mrs. Downing will begin her second teaching placement at Church Vale Primary School. This will last until the Easter holidays, we will be keeping in touch with her and we wish her all the very best.

We will be joined by two trainees from Bishop Grosseteste University, Miss Williams will be working alongside Mrs. Gibson in Class 2 until the Easter holidays and Miss Green (yes another one!), will be working alongside Mrs. Kami on Tuesdays for 14 weeks. We look forward to welcoming them to school, they have both already visited.

Looking ahead……..

After half term, our school swimming begins on Friday 3^rd March. The children will be split into two groups and have an eight week block each.

Starting on 3^rd March – Class 1 & 3 will swim on a Friday afternoon.

Starting on 12^th May – F2 and Class 2 will begin swimming.

More details will follow soon, however, it is worth reminding you of the swimming pool rules (attached) particularly around what the children must wear.
