Next week is a busy one!

The lunch menu is Week 1, there will be a change on the Thursday/Friday – Thursday FISH and Friday Christmas Lunch (roast).

EarlyBirds & AfterSchool

EarlyBirds will operate as normal each day. However, we are aware that on the afternoon performances, particularly Tuesday, most of the children who normally attend have a family member coming to see the performance and so we assume will be being taken home, please confirm this with us – especially the regular bookings. The same will occur on Wednesday, if you have family members at the performance and do not require AfterSchool, please let us know. I need to consider staffing, particularly for AfterSchool, as they will be working through the whole day due to performances as well as being back in the evening. Basically, if you do not need AfterSchool Care this week, please let us know.

PE

There will only be PE for Class 1 and Foundation on Wednesday morning, all other PE is cancelled due to performances etc.

There will be no AfterSchool on Thursday due to the pantomime trip.

Tickets for the performances were sent out yesterday – entry to the performances is by ticket only.

Tues 12^th Dec     Foundation & Class 1 Performances 2.00pm & 6.00pm

                             F1 children will need to be in school for the afternoon session as extra.

For the evening performance, doors will open at 5.45pm and that is the time children will need to be back at school for. Children will enter the front door.

They will have their costumes on (sent home after the afternoon performance). Entry will be by ticket only.

Wed 13^th Dec     Class 2 & 3 Performances 2.00pm & 6.00pm

Thurs 14^th Dec   Pantomime Trip for Foundation 2 to Y6 ‘Peter Pan’ at The Drill Hall, Lincoln. This is an afternoon performance and the return time will be around 4.45pm. Lunch will be served as normal. No money is required. The Foundation 1 children will stay in school with Miss Newboult. PLEASE LEAVE SPACE FOR THE COACH TO REVERSE DOWN CHURCH STREET TO SCHOOL.

Fri 15^th Dec         Christmas Lunch – school sweatshirts/cardigans can be swapped for Christmas Jumpers (normal uniform is to be worn).

Looking ahead…….

Mon 18^th Dec     Foundation & Class 1 Party 1.30 – 3.30pm. A change of clothes can be brought to change into after lunch. We send out requests for party food the week before and then have ‘buffet’ style party food. Santa visits the party and all children receive a gift donated by the PTFA.

Tues 19^th Dec     Class 2 & 3 Party 1.30 – 3.30pm. A change of clothes can be brought to change into after lunch. We send out requests for party food the week before and then have ‘buffet’ style party food. Santa visits the party and all children receive a gift donated by the PTFA.

                             PTFA Christmas Disco 6.00 – 7.30pm £3. The entry fee will includes pizza, drink and ice pop. No money is required. Please send money in an envelope – it can be handed

Wed 20^th Dec     Christingle Service in Church at 2.00pm. Everyone welcome – this is a real memory maker! The children build and light their Christingles in Church, it’s always full, so get there early to grab a seat. After the service, parents can take children home.
