Tomorrow morning we have our first Merits of 2024 at 9.00am in the hall, please come along and join us.

Lunch Menu is Week 3.

Monday

The Parent Curriculum Meeting starts at 5.30pm. Thank you to all those who have signed up so far (25), please CLICK HERE to register if you are coming along too. There will be drinks and light refreshments available. There will also be a free prize draw for all who come along.

We have slightly changed the format in order to improve the provision. The session will be split in two.

5.30 – 6.15pm

The first will focus on how parents can support with reading at home and take you on a journey from Foundation to Y6, with activities to try and tips and advice on offer. Mrs. Gibson will lead this session with input from other staff.

6.15 – 7.00pm

The second will focus on Maths. Again, this will be on how you can support with maths at home. The main focus of this will be on multiplication & division and how this builds as the children progress through school. There will be activities to try along with tips and advice. Miss Rowbottom will lead this session with input from other staff.

NO MERITS

The Year 4 will be heading to Gainsborough Leisure Centre with myself and Mr. Walker to take part in the Premier Education Year 4 Challenge. It is a sports hall activity challenge against a group of other local schools. The children will all need to be in school PE kit. I will supply them with a school coat (kindly donated by the Highfields Group). They should take a bottle of water and a small snack. We will travel by school minibus and return for a normal lunch.
