Good morning,

Well it has been lovely welcoming our new children as well as all our returning ones. It’s good to get back to routines for us all. I know there have been a few tears, but with support, care and love, things will get better.

As you might remember, Mr. Walker got married over the summer holidays. He wishes to express his thanks for the kind gift and card. Please find attached a photo from their wedding day. We have shared this with the children too.

We also had some other wonderful news in the holidays, Miss Newboult’s partner proposed to her whilst on holiday. Congratulations go to them both. I am sure Miss Newboult will be more than happy to flash off the ring if you want a look!

Please remember that the signing up for clubs this term closes tomorrow lunchtime (Friday). I will then confirm names for the clubs on Monday. Thank you for all those who have already signed up.

PE will take place twice next week for all children, as per the previous email and class letters:

Foundation –     Tuesday & Wednesday

Striders – all children who have signed up will be able to attend.

Friday

Merits at 9.00am in the school hall. This is an open invitation to families to attend. All the children from F2 upwards will be in Merits each week. We present certificates, awards and House Point Winners each week. I also like the children to share their achievements outside of school, if there are any certificates/medals or trophies etc that children have achieved, please bring them in on a Friday morning and we will share them with the whole school community. There is a chance at the end to meet the award winners from Merits each week.
