Good luck to the swimmers taking part in the Gala tomorrow afternoon (5.00pm Retford Leisure Centre), I have been rehearsing loud cheering!

Guitar and trumpet are as normal on Tuesday. Violin is on Thursday.
PE lessons are on Thursday. Swimming is on Friday.
Can the children in F2 and Class 3 make sure they have their PE kits on Tuesday as well please, we are looking at the practice of a new PE teacher to work across the Family of schools and Rebecca Tuddenham will be observing. We are using F2 and Class 3 as ‘guinea pigs’.
Thursday is the Nottingham Tennis Festival. Children and parents have been notified. Please ensure that your child has school PE kit, sweatshirt/hoody and a water-proof coat. A sun hat and sun cream will also be useful. Packed lunch and drinks are needed too. The children will receive a bottle of Highland Spring Water as they are the event sponsor. We will be leaving school at 9.00am and should return for approx. 4.30pm. The morning will be spent watching the Professional Women’s Matches and after lunch there will be 2.5 hours of tennis coaching and fun activities. Myself and Mrs. Tuddenham will be accompanying the children and travelling by school minibus.
On Thursday afternoon a group of Language Leaders from the Elizabethan Academy will be visiting school to do some French work with the KS2 children.
On Friday morning, Mrs. Pearson from QEHS will be in school to meet the five Y6 pupils who are going to Gainsborough in September.
The attendance rate for the whole school for the first two terms is 97% (0.66% unauthorised). The attendance rates for this week are:

Thank you for the trophies that have been returned so far, could I please have the remaining ones returned by next Friday.
ADVANCE WARNING – the PTFA is holding a Father’s Day shop on 18th & 19th June. There is also a coffee morning between 10-11.00am on Friday 19th June. This is for all parents to attend but children from Class 2 will be selling their Beatrix Potter story books that they have created.
