Good evening, Clubs for the week: Monday C4L (lunchtime) PVC (final one) Football (final one) Tuesday Choir Wednesday Summer Sports (final one) Gardening Club Thursday Lights, Camera, Act (final one) NO KICK BOXING Thank you to the children and parents who represented the school this morning at the Patronal service in Church. Our new F2 children for September are in full time from tomorrow. The children going to Queen Elizabeth High School are on their transition day tomorrow (Monday), good luck to them all. The Y6 children are going to Southwell Minster for the Y6 Transition Day on Tuesday. Myself and Mrs. Kingett will be accompanying the children. Packed lunch, drink and uniform are required. A small amount of spending money can be brought. We will leave at 8.50am and return for a normal 3.30pm finish. Trumpet and violin lessons are as normal this week, there is no guitar. THURSDAY: we have our sports afternoon on Thursday. Can all children please come to school in PE kits on Thursday. During the morning we will be running through the events as a practise. The afternoon starts at 1.15pm, the front door will open at 1.00pm (when the children have come in from lunch). The afternoon will consist of a set of team challenges that each group (three groups for each house team - Foljambe, Ingham and Ford) will rotate around. The children from F2 to Y6 will be in these teams. We have grouped brothers and sisters within the same teams so you can see your child(ren) all together in the challenges. This will then be followed by races for all children (F1 to Y6) as well as the Marathon Race. The PTFA will be selling strawberries and cream during the afternoon as well as drinks and sweets for after the events. The children should not be eating during the sports events, they will be provided with plenty of water. Swimming is as normal on Friday. School reports will be out on Friday. See you tomorrow.
