Good morning,

 

Tomorrow morning we celebrate Mother’s Day. Please join us at 9.00am in the school hall. There will be refreshments served after the celebration and the children will all have something for their Mums. If you cannot attend, these will be brought home at the end of the day.

 

Please remember to order lunches by Tuesday.

 

Please make bookings for wraparound care to office@sturton.notts.sch.uk by 3.30pm on Friday. Please also remember our new arrangements for making bookings, these must be received by 3.30pm on Friday.

 

Parent Governor Election

We have a number of nominations for Parent Governor (closing date tomorrow). The election will take place on Monday and Tuesday of next week. Voting papers will be available in the hall entrance each day from 7.45am, there will be a Ballot Box for posting your votes. Information on the candidates will be circulated tomorrow.

Swimming for Class 1 & Year 5. Please remember that spectators are not allowed this year. If you plan to collect from the pool, please email office@sturton.notts.sch.uk by 1.00pm on the day.

PLEASE NOTE – there is a funeral at Church from 2.00pm on Friday 20th March. The Wake is then across at the village hall. It is likely to be very busy for parking around school. Please be aware and be prepared to park elsewhere or walk.
