Good morning, School reopens tomorrow (Wednesday). We are looking forward to welcoming the children back. The normal morning routine resumes with the front door being opened at 8.40am. The children in Foundation will go along the front of school into the area as previously. All of the building work is complete and we are very pleased with it. As you come into the new school entrance, turn left for all the classrooms. I would like to invite parents at 3.15pm tomorrow to come in and have a look at the new facilities. The children will be using it straight away tomorrow. The fridge for lunchboxes is still in the old hall cupboard, lunch boxes can be dropped off on the way to the cloakrooms. At the end of the day, Class 1 & 2 will exit the front door and Class 3 will exit the back door but will be walked around to the front. Foundation parents will congregate near the Foundation area as previously. Letters about the term ahead will be sent out very soon from each class teacher. PE with Mrs. Tuddenham will again be on a Thursday. Each class will then have another PE session but the details will be on each class letter. PE in the new hall will be bare feet at all times. Class 1 will be doing some PE on Thursday with me in the new hall, so please have PE kits in school. Diary dates will be sent out very soon and these will include open evening, Harvest and arrangements around Christmas as well as other events. Date for the diary – Friday 30th September – Macmillan Coffee Morning in school 10.00am Starting on Friday 16th September, our weekly Merit assembly will take place at 9.00am every Friday and any parents are invited to attend.
