Good afternoon, School is closed for May Day on Monday. The Sturton Stride takes place on Sunday. The warm-up is on North Street at 10.15am with the race starting at 10.30am. The finish is on the school field where there will be a free bouncy castle, coffee van, freshly baked garlic bread, hot soup and crusty bread and a small selection of stalls. Please come along and cheer on the runners. If you are running – GOOD LUCK! All money raised is invested back into school, with your help we can make well over a £1000 on Sunday! Prize Draw tickets – please try really hard to sell the tickets and return the stubs and money to school by tomorrow please. Fund-raining is an ever important part of being able to maintain the provision of extras in school – all children benefit. Clubs for the week: Tuesday Choir Basketball Thursday Hi 5 Knitting Friday Tag Rugby &1, 2 & 3 Guitar is as normal on Tuesday. Wednesday morning is Class photos. Merits is on Friday at 9.00am. Swimming is for Y2, 3 & 4. Polite request – can I please request that the wearing of ‘Jo Jo’ bows is limited to just one and that it should be a colour that complements the school uniform. On Wednesday for class photos, ‘Jo Jo’ bows should not be worn thank you. A number of local schools have banned these outright, but I know that our parents will understand and appreciate my request.
