Good afternoon, Clubs start this week: Tuesday Choir (lunchtime) Wednesday Art Club (KS2) till 4.30pm No football Thursday Basketball (KS2 at lunchtime) Pupil Voice Committee till 4.30pm Friday Sturton Striders till 4.15pm Guitar will be as normal on Tuesday. The lunch cycle for the week commencing 18th September is Cycle 3. There is a Year 5 & 6 Cross Country event on Tuesday afternoon at Ranby House. Numbers are limited per team and so I will inform you when the teams are selected. I will transport them in the school minibus. Thursday afternoon is the Dedication & Blessing ceremony by the Bishop of Sherwood (please see the previous email invitation sent). There will be no Merits on Friday, I am out at a briefing. The PTFA will hold their AGM meeting on Friday afternoon at 2.45pm in the Learning Room. Please come along and support us. We will be voting on Chair, Secretary and Treasurer. We already have one event booked for this term, a fashion show on Tuesday 28th November. The PTFA are investing in our new library/community room. Money raised last year is paying for the refurbishment, furniture and extra books. All money raised by the PTFA is invested back into school for the benefit of all children. Date for the diary: Friday 20th October – Team Rubicon Skateboarding & Scooter Squad will be in school coaching the children. They will also be putting on some demonstrations.
