Cinema Trip – The Grinch (Monday 17^th December)

Normal school uniform is required. Buses will leave school at 9.00am. The children do not need any money and should not bring sweets. We will provide each child with a small bag of sweets when we are in the cinema.

Foundation 1 children who are not normally in on a Monday or those who are normally picked up at 11.45am, can be collected at 12.30pm on return. The rest of the children will have lunch as soon as they get back.

Christmas PTFA Disco (Monday 17^th December 6.00 – 7.30pm)

The cost for this is £3 per child, this includes a drink and slice of pizza (cheese & tomato). Sweets will be available to purchase. Parents of Foundation children are welcome to stay if they wish, but there will be staff members present including myself. Please make payment to the school office.

Foundation & Class 1 Party (Tuesday 18^th Dec.) Classes 2 & 3 Party (Wednesday 19^th Dec.)

The children’s party will run from 1.30 to 3.30pm. Party clothes can be brought to school and the children will change after lunch.

Next week, the children will bring home a slip of paper asking for a particular party food. The food is then shared at the party.

Father Christmas will visit the children at 3.00pm and each child will receive a present courtesy of the PTFA.

Collection is as normal at 3.30pm.

Christingle Service (Thursday 20^th Dec. 2.00pm)

We end the term with our Christingle Service in Church at 2.00pm. Family and friends are all warmly invited to attend and Church is always packed!

During the service, the children will construct their own Christingle orange, culminating in all the candles being lit around Church. The children stand with parents at this time for safety reasons.

Term finishes as soon as the service ends and children can go home with parents. If parents are not at Christingle, pick up is at 3.00pm.

We return to school on Monday 7^th January.
